![]() ![]() That is why i dug all these posts up, so others would see them all before wasting money. I just feel that if they stop supporting a game and it is broken and unplayable for many, then steam should stop carrying it and putting it on sale, especially if they refuse to refund that expansion based on time played on base game years ago. This is the major issue, it is not profitable to sustain a game like this for a long time. Not only we changed from windows 10 to 11, but also intel made new processors fundamentally different from previous ones. and then buffed and so on until they abandon this dumbsterfire. and then buffed again and made less tyranid. and then they will be nerfed into uselessness again. ![]() This game is 5 years old, and 5-10 years ago nothing like that would happened. next patch they will be buffed to be even less like tyranids. Okay, you want developers to support their games forever? On what money? Development itself is expensive, not to mention it ties people to old projects instead of working on new ones. Honestly, they could put maximun requirements, but publishers don't bother with those. And as far as i understand, is not an issue with the game, but with intel 11-12 generation, so i do not know if Steam have to do anything. It will still made changes, but only when you start the target app. Lad/lass, the reddit link i posted tells how to made it work without editing windows registry. Enjoy that 5 spot you duped me out of steam, you can upsize your meal with it while I tell everyone how you treat your customers after you sell them expansions to broken products. Will definitely make sure that the next 500$ in game purchases and gifts are through anything other than steam. What a crap practice to do customers who have supported steam and its employees for 15 years, over a 5$ purchase. Within 30 min of buying the Chaos expansion I found out this title would no longer work, but steam refuses a refund because I played the base game for 12 hours last year on my old cpu. I dug up a bunch of all these consumer complaints on this forum so at the very least hopefully getting them bumped to the front will keep a few people from getting ripped off like I did and save them from having to read months of posts to find out. ![]() I guess because the company abandoned the game before these cpu's came out, but steam doesnt care and still puts it and the expansion on sale to their unsuspecting customer base and denies all refunds to people who bought the expansion. I think the fix may only apply once you launch the game, so I recommend doing that with the game cloosed then opening it.Originally posted by FreeODDFIRE:Very recently upgraded to 12th gen CPU, why is this an issue, should it not run better? Just a reminder that your version should have random numbers on some of those lines.ĭon't forget to save the changes before cloosing the block-notes document. ![]() The first one is for the grouping comands, the later for the selection of the Control Group. In this block-notes document, you'll have to manually set 2 sets of comands:ĪctionMappings=(ActionName="GroupShip1",Key=One,bShift=False,bCtrl=True,bAlt=False,bCmd=False)ĪctionMappings=(ActionName="SelectShip1",Key=One,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False) The option is on the Display option in your File explorerĬ:\Users\User\AppData\Local\BattlefleetGothic2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor You also have to allow Masked elements to be shown on your file explorer to be able to see the AppData folder (little warning, the location may vary on your pc, but this should help you alot) Luckly for you I bited the bullet for you and spent several hours searching them yesterday (with success). You need to dig up in the game files to find the folder that deals with keybinds and set them manually. keys to something else in the Option menu. ![]()
